The beer is 100% pilsner malt and single-hopped with 100% Czechoslovakian Saaz (pronounced “Sotz”, rhymes with “hops”, depending on who you ask) hops. The pilsner malt gives it a grainy cereal flavor and the Saaz hops add a spiciness on the back end. As craft beer drinkers grow to appreciate some of the more traditional lagers and the beautiful simplicity and technical acumen they require, styles like this become more popular. We are particularly proud that that this beer took home Bronze at the 2017 Washington Beer Awards.

Pilsners, Macro Beer

This beer is about as traditional as they come. Its subtle flavors are the product of a minimalist recipe(just one malt and one hop) and the relatively mineral free waters of its birthplace in Pilsen, Czechoslovakia(circa 1842). When most people think "beer", this iconic Pilsner flavor is likely what comes to mind.
